Create a New Query
To create a new query, make sure you are on the Query tab.
At the very left hand side of the window, press the (+) icon to add a new query.
Name and Description
Give your query a name, and optionally a description.
Select the Connection
From the drop down, select the previously defined connection you would like to use for this query.
Save and Design
Press the Save button to store your new query. Then, at the very left hand side of the window, with your newly created query selected, press the (D) icon to enter design mode.
